What size coolroom do I need?

6 x 4 low profile unit – suits up to 120 people and can fit into your garage or carport.
6 x 4 standard unit – suits up to 120 people.
9 x 5 unit - 120 plus people.

Do the coolrooms have shelves.
Yes. We have shelves or no shelves options depending on your requirements.
6 x 4 units – shelves down one side
9 x 5 units – shelves down both sides

How many slabs of beer will fit into a coolroom?
6 x 4 – 50 slabs of cans approx’
9 x 5 – 160 slabs of cans approx’

When stacking your cartons or slabs you need to keep them away from the walls and leave gaps between them. The gaps allow the cold air to circulate around your items and cool them effectively, giving you the best results.

What power supply do I need for the coolroom?
All coolrooms and freezers plug into a standard 3-pin, 10 amp domestic power point. No special power supply is required to run the Unit, just a normal power point. Allow approx’ 1 hour for your coolroom unit to cool.

Are the Coolrooms noisey when running?
No, the coolrooms are very quiet. You can hardly hear them when they are operating, and you will not hear them during your party or function. You will be pleasently supprised how quiet they are.

Are the coolrooms and freezers delivered?
Yes, we deliver all of our Units direct to your address. We set up everything for you, so there's nothing for you to do. Call us to discuss your requirements.

When will my coolroom be delivered?
We deliver all our Coolrooms the day before your event. This gives the Unit time to cool down to the correct temperature and allows you to chill the contents correctly overnight. Talk to us regarding a specific delivery and pickup time that best suits your needs.

What is the minimum hire period?
Our units are available for short and long term hire, with a 2 day minimum hire period.
A weekend hire rate covers Friday - Monday.

Do you offer long term hire?
We are very happy to arrange long term rental of our Units, with weekly and monthly rates available. Please contact us to discuss the options available to you.

Are the coolrooms & freezers fitted with internal lights?
Yes. All of our units are fitted with internal lights.

What is provided with my unit?
All units include the following:
- A set of keys
- Wheel clamps
- Pad locks
- Drawbar locks
- Extension cord
- Wheel Chocks
(charges are applicable if these items are not returned at pick up)

Can I lock and secure the mobile coolroom unit for security?
Yes, all our Units are supplied with a high quality padlocks, wheel clamps and drawbar locks.
It is, however, your responsibility to ensure that the portable coolroom is placed in a secure location to prevent damage, graffiti or theft.

How much space does the mobile coolroom need?
When choosing the specific coolroom for your needs, please consider any clearance restrictions. Do you have sufficient height, length or width to accommodate the coolroom? Are there any gateways, trees or roofs that the coolroom needs to clear? Please check the exact vehicle dimensions with us to ensure the mobile coolroom will fit.

Where can a mobile coolroom be stored?
Flat, level, solid ground is the best terrain for setting up the mobile coolroom. Acceptable vehicle access must also be considered. Also, ensure a standard 3-pin power point is within 20 meters or so of your chosen site.

Are my products or goods insured for loss or damage?
No, you must provide your own insurance for loss or damage to your goods. Although, our coolroom doors can be securely locked, and the trailer unit is wheel clamped and has a draw bar lock installed, so your good are extremely safe.

Do I have to clean the cool room after I hire it?
All of our units are washed and sanitised after every hire so that they are ready for your immediate use. On completion of your hire, all contents and any rubbish must be removed from the unit and it needs to be clean and in good repair ready for pickup.
